Impact Business Course
Running for 6 weeks, we’ll meet once a week for 90 minutes to learn, explore, and apply sustainability+ circularity+ regenerative business and of course network and collaborate.
Course Content:
Exploring, applying, and integrating circularity and regenerative practices into your work. You will learn how to report, more importantly, how to assess and measure your progress. As a live program you will get a chance to learn about other businesses and sustainability professionals and have the possibility to collaborate with them. You will also have access to replays + assignments and follow up readings. Here are the topics we will be covering over the 6 weeks.
1.Ecodesign

2. Circular Business models
◍ What is a business model?
◍ How is circular different?

◍ You are a key player in the development of the circular economy ecosystem.
◍ Becoming a regenerative business.
4. Finding inspiration for application
◍ Examples across industries.
◍ Prototyping.
5. Impact reporting + good & bad practices
◍ How to start?
◍ Developing your impact report (for micro businesses and SME’s).
◍ Offsetting, donating- What to do when you can’t do anything about it?
◍ Industry bad practices- What to avoid doing?
6. Make this your own
◍ Integrate circularity into your business.
◍ Showcase your business and progress.
◍ Taking your next steps.
1. Participants have the opportunity to apply the content straight to their businesses. So, possible goals to set for the duration of the course can be: transition to having a circular business, wildly improving your circular practices if you already have them in place, and to move towards and become a regenerative business.
2. This course is full of examples. You will get to see and research the practices of businesses that are actually environmentally positive. So – no, we will not be looking at Nestle’s latest energy reduction nor the incorporation of recycled plastics in ZARA and H&M. Instead, we will be exploring businesses (many of which SMEs like you) that implement circular and regenerative practices and have an overall positive environmental and social impact. This helps demonstrate effective strategies.

This course is best suited for intermediate to advanced learners as you will need a bit of background on these topics to benefit most from our sessions.

When will the course start?
The live weekly 90min sessions will start on the 22nd of May, 2024 at 10am CET. If you cannot make that time, email me, a different schedule will be provided for your time zone.

Lara here! I’m a circularity and regenerative business consultant, trainer, and instructional designer. I work with SMEs on designing out waste and improving business experience. My story with sustainability started between kitchens and local farms over 10 years ago. I have had the privilege of establishing and assisting with the development of many green businesses in the areas of product design, arts, farming, and hospitality.
